This Privacy Policy describes how AIGovContract ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and email digest service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to operate the Service:

• Email address — when you join the waitlist or subscribe
• Subscription metadata — signup date, delivery preferences, unsubscribe status
• Email engagement data — open and click events from our email service provider (SendGrid)

We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses for tracking, or any sensitive personal information through the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver the daily opportunity digest
• To notify you about service updates, pricing, or launch availability
• To diagnose delivery issues and improve the Service
• To process payment if you become a paid subscriber

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Service Providers

We rely on the following third parties to operate the Service:

• Supabase — database hosting (stores your email and subscription data)
• SendGrid (Twilio) — email delivery
• Anthropic — AI scoring of opportunities (no personal data is sent; only public SAM.gov opportunity text)
• SAM.gov — public opportunity data source (we read from them; we send them nothing)

Each provider has its own privacy practices governing the data it processes on our behalf.

4. Data Retention

We retain your email address as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your record is removed from active delivery within 7 days and from our database within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes (e.g. payment records).

5. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any digest
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Correct inaccurate information

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and rely on Supabase's managed Postgres for encrypted storage at rest. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website does not set tracking cookies, use analytics scripts, or fingerprint visitors. The only data collected from the website is the email address you voluntarily submit through the waitlist form.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via the website.
